In the summer of 2022, Emma finally took the plunge and decided to embark on the creation of a self-portrait. It felt like the perfect moment to undertake this endeavour, as she had amassed numerous portraits of others and now felt compelled to turn the artistic lens inward. Emma’s intention was to capture her striking green hair, which had recently become an integral part of her identity in a somewhat whimsical manner.
